BioI'm 21, and I have just recently graduate L.A. Pierce College with my AA in General Liberal Arts and Science (a fancy way of saying I finished the IGETC Transfer Program). I'll be transferring to UC Berkeley for the spring '07 semester and a Psych major, and hopefully I'll get a spot in one of the Co-Ops that I signed up for. *crosses fingers*
I'm very open-minded, I love meeting new people, and I have an adventurous spirit, although I do tend to tie myself down with responsibilities (like school for example). Once I get my Bachelor's I want to continue on with my Doctorate. Somewhere in the course of all of this, I want to travel. Where do I want to go?? Everywhere. Japan in particular, and then there's also Canada, England, Greece, Italy, Australia... seriously. Everywhere.
There's a lot that I want to accomplish, and although I don't know if I'll ever get it all done, I at least will try. I want to learn a lot of different languages, like Japanese, Spanish, French, Italian... the list goes on. There's a lot of majors that I'm interested in, as well.
I'm an artistic person, and I particularly like to draw in the anime style, centering around a fantasy theme. Otherwise I just generally draw fan art whenever I feel like it, which has lately consisted of Get Backers, Ouran High School Host Club, and Deathnote. My major was originally animation, but I changed it due to the fact that I don't think I'd be able to make a living off of it right now. A lot of it is being moved overseas where it's a lot cheaper, and a lot of animators are losing their jobs. Not to mention I'm more of a traditional artist than anything else (oil paints are my favorite), and right now computer animation is what's popular. It doesn't bother me, though. I can always change my mind and pursue an art career when I want to. And even if I don't, I'll always have it with me.
Well, that's everything for right now. Anything else I want to say about myself will be posted in my journal obviously. Thanks for taking the time to read. :)
